Two-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane will join stage and screen star Julianne Moore in the new film The English Teacher, according to Deadline.com.
The film, which will be directed by Craig Zisk and written by Dan and Stacy Charlton, will star as Moore as a high school English teacher and Lane as a high school drama teacher. Greg Kinnear will also star in the movie.
Lane is a two-time Tony Award winner for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and The Producers. He will star next year in the Goodman Theatre’s production of The Iceman Cometh.
Moore starred on Broadway in The Vertical Hour and Off-Broadway in Vanya on 42nd Street. She is currently on the big screen in Crazy Stupid Love.
