Michi Barall, Madeleine George, Katori Hall, Sarah Treem, and David Wiener have been selected to participate in The Lark Play Development Center’s 2009-2010 Playwrights’ Workshop.
The playwrights will all participate in bi-weekly sessions over an eight-month period in which their scripts are shared, discussed, and refined. The Workshop is led by founder and playwright advisor Arthur Kopit and co-hosted by other advisors, including David Henry Hwang, Tina Howe, Theresa Rebeck, and Doug Wright. At the end of the period, the plays that they have developed will be presented in public readings.
