Michael Esper and More Complete the Cast of Appropriate on Broadway

The complete cast has been announced for Second Stage Theater’s Broadway production of Appropriate by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, directed by Lila Neugebauer.
Michael Esper (The Last Ship), and Graham Campbell, Lincoln Cohen, and Everett Sobers, making their Broadway debuts, complete the cast, joining the previously announced Elle Fanning, Natalie Gold, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Sarah Paulson, and Corey Stoll.
Appropriate starts performances on November 29 at Second Stage’s Hayes Theater. Two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and Obie Award winner Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (An Octoroon) makes his Broadway debut with this production.
In this comic American family drama, the Lafayette family returns to their late patriarch’s Arkansas home to deal with the remains of his estate, revealing long-hidden secrets and buried resentments.
Appropriate features scenic design by dots, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Jane Cox, and sound design by Will Pickens and Bray Poor.
