Mercedes Ellington, Kimberly Grigsby, Jonathan Groff, Maurice Hines, Mark Nadler, James Rado, Wynonna Smith, and Charles Randolph Wright were among the notables who came out for celebrated performer Andre De Shields‘ theatrical concert, I Put a Spell on You on Friday, October 5 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. De Shields will do one more show at the Beechman this Friday, October 12 at 11pm.
I Put a Spell on You also features vocalists Freida Williams and Marlene Danielle, and pianist Larry Spivack, with guest appearances by original Harlette Ula Hedwig and composer Steve Margoshes.
