Lincoln Center Theater has announced its 2026-27 season.

Off-Broadway at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, the company will present a rare revival of August Wilson’s Seven Guitars, directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson (begins November 5); the new Kimberly Belflower play Born in the Dirt, directed by Danya Taymor (begins April 14); and Emmy winner Matthew Rhys as Richard Burton in Mark Jenkins’s play Playing Burton, directed by Bartlett Sher (dates to be announced).

Upstairs at the Claire Tow Theater, LCT3 will present Mfoniso Udofia’s Creation Stories and All the Important Importants, directed by Tamilla Woodard (begins September 15), and Emma Watkins’s Pretend It’s Pretend, directed by Annie Tippe (begins January 28).

In addition, Sara Bareilles, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Pasek & Paul will perform one-night events at the Beaumont alongside rising songwriters; playwrights Jackie Sibblies Drury, Amy Herzog, Samuel D. Hunter, Martyna Majok, and Dominique Morisseau will curate a reading series; and the popular Comedy Series will return, as well.

These are in addition to the Broadway revivals of A Few Good Men this fall and The Sound of Music next spring at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, with full details about those productions found here.
