Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre kicked off its 2016-17 season by cutting the ribbon on its newly renovated Chelsea home on Saturday, September 24. A special public celebration helped commemorate the space, including a day-long block party on 22nd Street. Two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick, who recently appeared in Irish Rep's revival of Shining City, joined local officials and Irish Government representatives in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
