Masquerade, the immersive production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera created by Diane Paulus, Webber, and Randy Weiner, announced new casting. Masquerade is now running through January 31 at 218 West 57th Street.
The new Phantoms are Austin Colby (through July 23), Derrick Davis, and Nicholas Edwards. Also joining the cast are Mark Banik as Firmin, Claire Leyden as Christine, and Gregory Lee Rodriguez as Raoul. Courtney Balan, Stephanie Jae Park, Tanner Quirk, and Stephanie Reuning-Scherer are the new vacation covers.
The current cast of Masquerade also includes Quentin Earl Darrington, Hugh Panaro, Kyle Scatliffe, and Ryan Vona as Phantom; Haile Ferrier, Eryn LeCroy, Francesca Mehrotra, Riley Noland, and Kaley Ann Voorhees as Christine; and Francisco Javier González and Dan Hoy as Raoul; Matthew Curiano as Andre; Satomi Hofmann, Tia Karaplis, and Betsy Morgan as Carlotta/Giry; Liz Pearce as Giry; and Jeremy Stolle as Firmin.
Also in the company are Alaska as Carnival Specialty Act; Laura Lee Anderson as Ring Toss Performer; Milena Comeau, Georgia Mendes, Charles Osborne as Ensemble Gabriella Enriquez as Ensemble, Automata; Maxfield Haynes, Kody Jauron, and Kevin Zambrano as Young Phantom; Bryan Hernandez-Luch as Violinist; Nathan Keen as Dance/Fight Captain; Joseph Kerr as Master of Pyromancy; Jacob Lacopo, Cooper Stanton, and Andrew Wojtal as Buquet; Anna Monoxide as Carnival F&B; and Chris Ryan as Barker.
