Mary Testa to Star in Queen of the Mist Reunion Concert

Transport Group announces its 2016-17 season.

Transport Group will present a season of William Inge plays in repertory in early 2017 at the The Gym at Judson.

The organization, under the leadership of Jack Cummings III, will produce Picnic and Come Back, Little Sheba in rotating repertory, with scenic design by Dane Laffrey, costume design by Kathryn Rohe, and lighting design by R. Lee Kennedy. Casting will be announced at a later date. Performances will run February 23-April 23, with opening night set for March 26.

The season will also include two special installments of the Anne L. Bernstein Concert Series: a five-year anniversary presentation of Michael John LaChiusa's Queen of the Mist, featuring Mary Testa and the original cast, and the 2002 Stephen Flaherty, Lynn Ahrens, Terrence McNally musical A Man of No Importance. Queen of the Mist will be seen on October 16 at the Sheen Center, while A Man of No Importance will be presented December 5 at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
