Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland will play a potentially recurring role on the Showtime drama, The Killing, according to published reports. She will portray the sister of Detective Holder (played by Joel Kinnaman).
Ireland received a Tony nomination for reasons to be pretty. She also appeared on Broadway in After Miss Julie, and her numerous Off-Broadway credits include Maple and Vine, Three Sisters, In the Wake, A Lie of the Mind, Blasted, The Beebo Brinker Chronicles, and The Ruby Sunrise.
