Magic Circle Theater has announced the cast and creative team for their world premiere production of Elizabeth, May 14-24, Ken Jordan’s new play with direction by Josh Hitchens.
A long-time collaboration between Jordan and Hitchens, the play focuses on Elizabeth, a pop sensation at the peak of her career who brings in the virtually unknown event planner Cynthia Whitman to help her coordinate a global event. Meanwhile, Elizabeth has a secret everyone must work to keep quiet.
The cast will feature Sherri Gray (Elizabeth), C M Mitchell (Wendi), Amanda Bernhardt (Cindy), and Maren Masino. The creative team will include Buddy Love (set/lighting design) and Matthew Tucker (video/graphic design).
