Lincoln Center Theater's LCT3 has announced that it will present Lucy Alibar's solo show Throw Me on the Burnpile and Light Me Up for a brief three-performance run December 6-8 at the Claire Tow Theater.

Alibar, who is best known for her Academy Award-nominated screenplay for Beasts of the Southern Wild, based on her original play Juicy and Delicious, will perform the show. Neel Keller (Office Hour, Until the Flood) will direct.

Throw Me on the Burnpile is described as follows: "Screenwriter, playwright, and novelist Lucy Alibar shares extraordinary coming-of-age stories in Burnpile, set in the sometimes dangerous and often magical Florida Panhandle."
