Lorna Courtney, Star of & Juliet, Sings “Since U Been Gone” With Kelly Clarkson

& Juliet imagines what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. Now running at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, the musical features songs by the legendary and Grammy-winning songwriter/producer Max Martin, including “Since U Been Gone,” on which Clarkson collaborated with Martin and won a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. The show also features a book by Emmy-winning Schitts Creek writer David West Read, direction by Luke Sheppard, and choreography by Emmy winner Jennifer Weber. 

In addition to Courtney, who takes on the title role, the cast of & Juliet features Tony Award winner Paulo Szot as Lance, Betsy Wolfe as Anne Hathaway, Tony Award nominee Stark Sands as Shakespeare, Justin David Sullivan as May, Melanie La Barrie as Angelique, Ben Jackson Walker as Romeo, and Philippe Arroyo as Francois.
