Liza Minnelli, Arthur Murray International to Be Honored at Career Transition for Dancers Jubilee

Additional honorees have been announced for Career Transition for Dancers’ 27th Anniversary Jubilee, entitled JUMP FOR JOY A Dance Variety Spectacular. The event will be held at New York City Center on Monday, November 5 at 7pm. As previously reported, five-time Tony Award winner Angela Lansbury will host.

As previously announced, entertainment legend Liza Minnelli will be the recipient of the Rolex Dance Award. In addition, The Career Transition For Dancers Outstanding Contributions to the World of Dance Awards will be awarded to: Joni Berry, Michele Herbert, Gerald M. Appelstein and Arthur Murray International (celebrating its 100th Anniversary).

The show, produced and directed by Ann Marie DeAngelo, will weave together all genres and dance styles. It will be followed by a Supper at The Grand Ballroom at The Hilton New York.
