The Young Vic has announced casting for Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie, to run November 11- January 1, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Joe Hill-Gibbins will direct the production, which will be designed by Jeremy Herbert and have original music by Academy Award winner Dario Marianelli.
Williams’ autobiographical 1944 play centers on Tom, a young would-be poet, who struggles to support his overbearing mother and delicate sister. The company will feature Olivier Award winner Deborah Findlay (Amanda Wingfield), along with Sinead Matthews, Leo Bill and Kyle Soller.
