Keenan-Bolger will play Victor Garber/Luigi and DeLaria will take on the role of Ruth Dewitt Bukater.
New cast members for Titanique at the Daryl Roth Theatre have been announced.
Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Tuck Everlasting, Newsies) will step into the role of Victor Garber/Luigi starting tonight, January 21, andactor/comedian Lea DeLaria (POTUS, Orange is the New Black) will start performances as Ruth Dewitt Bukater on February 4.
They join the two newest cast members, Cassadee Pope as Rose and Kyle Ramar Freeman (The Wiz, A Strange Loop) as the Iceberg.
Co-written by Marla Mindelle, Constantine Rousouli, and Tye Blue, Titanique is an irreverent send-up of the blockbuster film Titanic, featuring the songs of Céline Dion. The cast also includes Dee Roscioli (Wicked) as Céline Dion, Max Jenkins (Dead To Me) as Jack Dawson, Callum Francis (Kinky Boots) as Cal, Drama Desk Award nominee Lisa Howard (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) as the Unsinkable Molly Brown, Rae Davenport, Sara Gallo, Tess Marshall, Barnaby Reiter, and Terrence Williams Jr. On February 4, Jamir Brown joins the ensemble as a background vocalist.
Titanique is directed by Tye Blue and choreographed by Ellenore Scott. Music Supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations are by Nicholas James Connell. The design team includes scenic designers Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production, costume designer Alejo Vietti, lighting designer Paige Seber, sound designer Lawrence Schober, wig designer Tommy Kurzman, and original prop designer Eric Reynolds.
