Benanti continues her search for the right kind of attention on the West Coast.
Tony Award winner Laura Benanti (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Gypsy) will celebrate the West Coast release of her first album, In Constant Search of the Right Kind of Attention, with a solo concert at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood, California on January 9, 2014.
The concert is presented by Chris Isaacson and Upright Cabaret and features musical direction and arrangements by Todd Almond. In addition to her many Broadway credits, Benanti has appeared on a number of television series including Go On, The Playboy Club, Starved, Royal Pains, The Big C, Law & Order: SVU, Eli Stone, Elementary, and Life on Mars.
On December5, she will take on the featured role of Baroness Schraeder in the live NBC presentation of The Sound of Music.
