The Lincoln Center Theater revival officially welcomes its new cast to the Beaumont.
The Lincoln Center Theater revival of My Fair Lady enjoyed a reopening celebration last night, officially welcoming its newest cast members to the Tony-nominated production. Take a look at photos from the festivities below.
New to the company are Laura Benanti (who plays her final performance as Eliza Doolittle on February 17), along with Danny Burstein (Alfred P. Doolittle), Rosemary Harris (Mrs. Higgins), Christian Dante White (Freddy Eynsford-Hill), and Clarke Thorell (Professor Zoltan Karpathy).
They join an ensemble that features the production's original Henry Higgins, Harry Hadden-Paton, as well as Allan Corduner (Colonel Pickering), Linda Mugleston (Mrs. Pearce), Cameron Adams, Shereen Ahmed, Mark Aldrich, Kerstin Anderson, Becca Ayers, Barbara Jo Bednarczuk, Heather Botts, Rebecca Eichenberger, SuEllen Estey, Christopher Faison, Steven Trumon Gray, Adam Grupper, Michael Halling, Joe Hart, Sasha Hutchings, Mary Claire King, Michael X. Martin, Justin Lee Miller, Rommel Pierre O'Choa, Keven Quillon, JoAnna Rhinehart, Lance Roberts, Blair Ross, Brian Shepard, Samantha Sturm, Matt Wall, Michael Williams, Minami Yusui, and Lee Zarrett.
Adapted from George Bernard Shaw's play and Gabriel Pascal's motion picture Pygmalion, My Fair Lady, with a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, is directed by Bartlett Sher and features choreography by Christopher Gattelli, with sets by Michael Yeargan, lighting by Donald Holder, sound by Marc Salzberg, and Tony-winning costume design by Catherine Zuber.
The production opened April 19, 2018, at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre, earning 10 Tony nominations including Best Revival of a Musical.
