The Marsh, in association with the San Francisco Improv Festival, is set to present director and comedian Larry Hankin in Larry Hankin’s Street Stories, June 1 and 2.
Larry Hankin’s Street Stories was last performed in San Francisco in the 90s and was the basis for Hankin’s short film Solly’s Diner, for which he received an Oscar nomination.
Hankin is a founding member of San Francisco improvisational theater troupe The Committee. He has appeared in more than 80 sitcoms and 40 feature films and is best known for his recurring roles as Mr. Heckles, the weird downstairs neighbor on Friends, and for his role as ‘the Other Kramer’ on Seinfeld.
