Julie Atherton will celebrate the release of her album No Space for Air with a one-night-only concert at the Delfont Room at the Prince of Wales Theatre on June 6. The concert will coincide with Spekulation Records’ release of the CD that day. Craig Adams will serve as musical director for the event.

In her performance, Atherton will offer both standards and original songs that have been written specifically for her. The influences on the album and performance range from Alanis Morissette and Skunk Anansie to Stephen Sondheim.

Atherton’s stage credits include Avenue Q, Notes From New York, Fame, The Last 5 Years, and Mamma Mia! She is also an experienced concert artist, having headlined numerous musical engagements at venues as diverse as the Donmar Warehouse and the Royal Albert Hall.
