Judy Kuhn and Stephen Bogardus to Perform at Classic Stage Company’s Annual Gala

Alexander Gemignani, Jeffry Denman, and more will participate in the nonprofit theater’s benefit celebration.

Classic Stage Company, led by Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will celebrate the theater’s past, present, and future this Friday, May 10, in its 45th Anniversary Bash, at the Edison Ballroom. The evening will include an exclusive sneak peek at shows under consideration for the company’s continuing musical theatre initiative, which began this past season with an accalimed revival of the musical Passion. The evening will feature performances by Judy Kuhn, Stephen Bogardus, and Jeffry Denman — all of whom starred in that production. Alexander Gemignani, Alexandra Silba, and Jenny Fellner will also take part in a presentation directed by Jack Cummings III. Greg Jarrett will provide musical direction.

The evening begins at 7:30pm with cocktails, dinner, and an auction, followed by a 10:00pm performance.

Now in its 45th anniversary season, Classic Stage Company is an award-winning Off-Broadway theater committed to reimagining the classical repertory for a contemporary American audience. Founded in 1967, CSC uses works of the past as a way to engage in the issues of today.

Performance-only tickets for the May 10 benefit gala can be purchased in advance for $75 or at the door beginning at 9:00pm for $100. Table sponsorships and individual tickets are also available.
