Kenny Leon directs the production at the Astor Place Theatre.

Days after winning the Tony, Ragtime star Joshua Henry has his next project lined up: a new musical he co-write called The Conversation.
Henry will star with Julia Harriman, with whom he wrote the music and lyrics. The book is by Nick Green. Kenny Leon is directing.
The Conversation follows Marcus (Henry) and Elle (Harriman) from the spark of their first date to move-ins, milestones, and the slow accumulation of everything left unsaid. The seeds of the idea were planted while Henry and Harriman were on tour in Hamilton together.
The 10-week engagement will begin on November 17 at the Astor Place Theatre, with a December 7 opening.
