Former In the Heights star and American Idol champion Jordin Sparks will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” on Tuesday, July 12 at Major League Baseball’s 82nd All-Star game, to be held at the Chase Field in Phoenix, according to The Associated Press. The game will air live on Fox at 8pm.
During MLB’s All-Star Week, Sparks will participate in a celebrity softball game with Nick Jonas and Chord Overstreet. All-Star Week will also feature performances from Cee Lo Green, Jason Aldean, Michelle Branch, and Bernie Williams.
