New Brunswick, New Jersey's George Street Playhouse has announced the lineup of productions slated for its 2014-15 season.

The season will open with the 2014 Tony-nominated play Outside Mullingar. Written by Pulitzer Prize winner John Patrick Shanley (Doubt), the original Broadway production starred Debra Messing and Brían F. O'Byrne at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Directed by Artistic Director David Saint, the production will run from October 7-November 2, with an official opening set for October 10.

The Fabulous Lipitones, a new a cappella musical comedy by John Markus (The Cosby Show) and Mark St. Germain (Freud's Last Session), will follow, running from November 18-December 14. Opening night is scheduled for November 21.

The Whipping Man, written by Matthew Lopez, will run from January 20-February 15, with an opening night scheduled for January 23. The historical play focuses on a wounded Jewish confederate soldier who returns to his family home to find it abandoned — except for two former slaves also raised in the Jewish faith.

The season's final offering will be David Saint's 25th-anniversary production of John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation. Based on actual events, this play about a young man with a questionable past and claims of Hollywood royalty is set to run from April 21-May 17. Opening night is planned for April 24. Saint's association with the production continues the company's collaboration with Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts.
