Jimmy Smits will join the cast of FX’s drama Sons Of Anarchy, according to a report on Deadline.com. He will play a Latino gangbanger with an exit strategy who becomes a dangerous mentor for Jax, the character played by Charlie Hunnam.
Smits’ stage credits include Anna in the Tropics and Twelfth Night. Among his many television credits are Dexter, Cane, The West Wing, and NYPD Blue, as well as L.A. Law, for which he won an Emmy.
