Stage and screen star Jesse Tyler Ferguson will guest star on the January 6 episode of the ABC comedy Ugly Betty, according to EW.com. He will be reprising his season 1 role as Betty’s orthodontist.
Ferguson currently stars in the ABC series Modern Family. His Broadway credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and he will return to the stage in the summer of 2010 in the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park repertory productions of The Merchant of Venice and The Winter’s Tale.
Ugly Betty, which is set in the world of fashion magazines, stars theater veterans America Ferrara, Vanessa Williams, Michael Urie, Ana Ortiz, Tony Plana, Daniel Eric Gold, Becki Newton, and Judith Light, along with Eric Mabius and Mark Indelicato.
