The upcoming Broadway revival of The Color Purple won't begin performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre until November 9, but fans don't have to wait that long to get a taste of what Jennifer Hudson and Cynthia Erivo will bring to the roles of Shug Avery and Celie. A new video, originally published on People's website, features the dynamic duo dueting on the musical's title song — and even hints at what the show will eventually look like.
