A new cast will take over the West End production of Tim Firth’s Calendar Girls, adapted from his 2003 screenplay, at West End’s Noel Coward Theatre, from November 3 to January 9. Hamish McColl directs.
The play is about a group of middle-aged English women who pose for a racy calendar, and will star Julie Goodyear as Cora – Miss July; Kelly Brook as Celia – Miss September; Janie Dee as Annie – Miss February; Helen Lederer as Marie; Debbie Chazen as Ruth; Arabella Weir as Chris – Miss October; Jan Leeming as Lady Cravenshire; and Rob James Collier as the photographer Lawrence.
The production has also announced that it will move theaters, following the end of this cast’s run. Additional details will be announced at a later date.
The production features a set by Robert Jones, lighting by Malcolm Rippeth, costumes by Emma Williams, and music by Steve Parry. The show currently stars Gemma Atkinson, Jill Baker, June Brown, Richenda Carey, Sara Crowe, Anita Dobson, Jill Halfpenny, Jerry Hall, and Jack Ryder.
