Janeane Garofalo, Daniel Oreskes, Morgan Spector Set for New Group’s Russian Transport

The New Group has announced casting for Erika Sheffer’s Russian Transport, to begin performances on January 17 at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row. Scott Elliott will direct the production, which will officially open on January 30.

The play is a portrait of an immigrant Russian famiiy in Sheepshead Bay. The company will feature Janeane Garofalo, Daniel Oreskes, Morgan Spector, Sarah Steele and Raviv Ullman.

The company is currently presenting Thomas Bradshaw’s Burning and will present David Rabe’s An Early History of Fire in 2012.
