Stage and screen star James Gandolfini, along with Saoirse Ronan, will star in Violet & Daisy, according to a report in Variety. Geoffrey Fletcher is writing and directing the film, which will begin shooting on September 27 in New York.
The movie focuses on a pair of teenage assassins who are lured into what is supposed to be just another standard job, but find that complications arise when the man they are supposed to kill is not what they expected.
Gandolfini received a Tony nomination for his Broadway debut in God of Carnage, and is perhaps best known for playing Tony Soprano on The Sopranos.
