Conor McPherson’s Shining City opened on Tuesday, May 9 at the Biltmore Theatre with a powerhouse cast (left to right): Brían F. O’Byrne, Oliver Platt, Martha Plimpton, and Peter Scanavino.

The after-party for Shining City, held at the Bryant Park Grill, was attended by such celebs as Keith Carradine (who happens to be Martha Plimpton’s dad)…

…the super-talented John Leguizamo and celebrity chef Mario Batali…

… Broadway star and TV icon Tyne Daly…

…and the great actor Brian Dennehy, lauded for his performance as Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman on Broadway and in London.

On Sunday, May 7, the second Broadway revival of Herman Wouk’s The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial opened at the Schoenfeld Theatre — formerly the Plymouth — which also housed the original production. The celebs on hand for the Caine opening and the after party at Sardi’s included Eric Bogosian, who starred in Robert Altman’s 1988 TV film version of the play…
