In the Recording Studio With Kerry Butler, Judy Gold, and the Stars of Clinton The Musical

Ghostlight Records recorded the original cast album of Clinton The Musical on Tuesday, May 19 at Avatar Studios. The disc is produced by Dean Sharenow.

Written by Paul Hodge and Michael Hodge, Clinton The Musical follows Bill and Hillary Clinton on their quest to save the presidency after a major scandal. The cast includes Kerry Butler (Hillary Clinton), Tom Galantich (WJ Clinton), Duke Lafoon (Billy Clinton), Judy Gold (Eleanor Roosevelt), John Treacy Egan (Newt Gingrich), Veronica Kuehn (Monica Lewinsky), Kevin Zak (Kenneth Starr) Kara Guy, and Dale Hensley.

The show premiered at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and has since been further developed by director Dan Knechtges for this currently running production at New World Stages. Kari Lynn Hearn of CoolChic Productions and executive producer Ken Davenport produce. The creative team for Clinton The Musical includes Tony winner Beowulf Boritt (scenic design), David Woolard (costume design), and Peter Fitzgerald (sound design).

The Clinton The Musical cast album will be released later this year.
