I'll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers starts its run tonight at TheaterWorks. The show is a tell-all from the mouth of a Hollywood "superagent" Sue Mengers. For more than 20 years her clients were the talk of the town. Celebrities like Barbra Streisand, Faye Dunaway, and Burt Reynolds relied on her. In the play, Sue invites you into her Beverly Hills home for an evening-long gossip fest, revealing all of her inside showbiz stories. Dropping names and secrets, this "wickedly brash woman" explains how a non-English-speaking Jewish immigrant became a film-industry powerbroker. After all, "it was a fabulous career…while it lasted."

Written by John Logan and directed by Don Stephenson, the show stars Karen Murphy.

The creative team includes John Coyne (set design), Gregory A. Poplyk (costume design), John Lasiter (lighting design), Hunter Spoede and Michael Miceli (sound design), and Kate J. Cudworth (stage manager).

Performances will run through August 23.
