Harvey Guillén, Michael Urie Join Starry Spamalot at the Kennedy Center

They’re Knights of the Round Table!

Full casting has been announced for Monty Python’s Spamalot at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, running May 12-21.

Joining the previously announced Alex Brightman (Lancelot), James Monroe Iglehart (King Arthur), Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (Lady of the Lake), and Rob McClure (Historian/Price Herbert) will be Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) as Patsy, Michael Urie as Sir Robin, Jimmy Smagula as Sir Bedevere, and Nik Walker as Sir Galahad. Phillip Attmore, Daniel Beeman, Maria Briggs, Michael Fatica, Ryan Kasprzak, Eloise Kropp, Daniel May, Shina Ann Morris, Kaylee Olson, and Kristin Piro round out the ensemble.

Spamalot, based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail, is written by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, and directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. John Bell is the musical director.

Due popular demand, an 11th performance (Thursday, May 18 at 2 p.m.) has been added for this new production directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes (Broadway Center Stage: The Who’s Tommy) with musical direction by John Bell (Into the Woods).

The production will have scenic and projection design by Paul Tate dePoo III, costume design by Jen Caprio, lighting design by Cory Pattak, sound design by Haley Parcher, and wig design by Tom Watson.
