God of Carnage, Intimate Apparel on Season Lineup at Shakespeare & Company

The Berkshires-based theater has announced its summer schedule.

Berkshires-based Shakespeare & Company has announced its summer 2017 season. Tickets will go on sale soon.

The season at the organization's Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre will kick off with Amy Herzog's 4,000 Miles directed by Nicole Ricciardi. It will run May 25-July 16 and feature Annette Miller.

July 20-August 13 will see Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel, starring Nehassaiu deGannes and Christianna Nelson. Daniela Varon will direct.

Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage will run September 14-October 8. Directed by Matt Penn and translated by Christopher Hampton, the production will feature Elizabeth Aspenlieder, Allyn Burrows, and Jonathan Croy.

An Evening of Edith Wharton One-Acts: Roman Fever and The Fullness of Life, featuring David Joseph, Corinna May, and Diane Prusha, will run August 17-September 10. Directed by Normi Noel, it is adapted by Dennis Krausnick.

Jonathan Epstein and Tamara Hickey will star in Shakespeare's Cymbeline, directed by Tina Packer in the Tina Packer Playhouse, July 4-August 6.

Nigel Gore and Jason Asprey will be featured in The Tempest, directed by Allyn Burrows, August 10-September 3 in the outdoor Garden Theatre.

Jonathan Croy will direct A Midsummer Night's Dream July 11-August 20 at the Dell at the Mount, Edith Wharton's Home, outdoors.
