The Getty Villa and Playwrights’ Arena will present Nick Salamone’s new adaptation of Euripides’ Helen, to run September 6-29 under the direction of Jon Lawrence Rivera.
Helen tells the alternate story of Helen of Troy, in which she becomes the victim of Olympian plots and is replaced by a phantom double before being exiled to Egypt.
Casting and additional information will be announced in the coming weeks.
