Full Casting Announced for World Premiere of Dan Cody's Yacht

Full casting has been announced for Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Dan Cody's Yacht, a new play written by Anthony Giardina and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes. The production is set to begin previews May 15 ahead of a June 6 opening night at New York City Center — Stage I.

The cast of Dan Cody's Yacht will feature Kristen Bush, Meredith Forlenza, Laura Kai Chen, Rick Holmes, Roxanna Hope Radja, John Kroft, Jordan Lage, and Casey Whyland.

Dan Cody's Yacht is set in a small Boston suburb, where a single schoolteacher is struggling to get by when the wealthy father of one of her students surprises her with a financial proposal that could change her daughter's life. Suddenly, their worlds collide in ways that open up the question: What truly separates the haves and the have-nots?

The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Jen Schriever (lighting design), Fitz Patton (original music and sound design), and Ben Furey (dialect coach).
