The Fred Ebb Foundation, named in honor of the late lyricist, has made a donation of $1.2 million to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, marking the largest single contribution in BC/EFA history.
In association with the Roundabout Theatre Company also presents the annual Fred Ebb Award to musical theater songwriters. Recipients have included John Bucchino (2005), Steve Lutvak and Robert L. Freedman (2006), Peter Mills (2007), Adam Gwon (2008), Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich (2009), and Douglas J. Cohen (2010), and Jeff Blumenkrantz.(2011).
