With Brian Dennehy and Mia Farrow nearing the end of their run in A.R. Gurney's Love Letters on Broadway, we think producers should consider passing on the roles of star-crossed lovers Andrew and Melissa to…puppets. Sure, Carol Burnett will bring her signature humor to the role, but Crow T. Robot and his gumball-machine-headed companion Tom Servo from Mystery Science Theater 3000 cut right to the heart of the story with unparalleled efficiency more than 20 years ago.
