Flashback Friday: Mary Martin Was the First Actress Who Took to the Sky in Peter Pan

As Peter Pan LIVE! star Allison Williams' father recently announced on the national news, the actress has been a Peter Pan fan most of her life. According to Williams, that all started with an old VHS of Mary Martin in the 1960 movie version of the musical.

"We had a VHS of her," Williams told TheaterMania, "and I try to remember, did I know she was a woman? And I don't know. She was Peter Pan, and that was all that mattered to me."
