Flashback Friday: Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou in Sweeney Todd

Prince of Broadway, the musical retrospective of the career of director/producer Harold Prince, celebrated its opening night last night, August 24. The show blends songs and scenes from many of the musicals which have earned Prince an astonishing 21 Tony Awards. Among them is Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's masterpiece, Sweeney Todd. Today, we flashback to the original television commercial for the 1979 production, featuring leading players Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou.
