The world-premiere production of Mlima's Tale, the latest from two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage (Sweat), has released new photos of its current run at the Public Theater's Martinson Hall. Opening night is set for April 15 and performances will run through May 20. Check out photos from the world-premiere in the gallery below.

Ito Aghayere, Jojo Gonzalez, Kevin Mambo, and Sahr Ngaujah will star in the production. Under the direction of Jo Bonney, the creative team will include Riccardo Hernandez (scenic design), Jennifer Moeller (costume design), Lap Chi Chu (lighting design), Darron L. West (sound design), Justin Hicks (original music), and Chris Walker (movement direction).

Mlima's Tale is described as "the story of Mlima, a magnificent elephant trapped in the clandestine international ivory market. Following a trail of greed and desire as old as trade itself, Mlima leads us through memory and fear, history and tradition, and want and need."
