Final Lineup Announced for 2016 TEDxBroadway

The final lineup of speakers and performers who will be taking the stage on February 22 at New World Stages for this year's TEDxBroadway has been announced. The event is themed around the question, "What Is the Best Broadway Can Be?"

The newest additions to the roster of presenters for 2016's TEDxBroadway include Alex Dinelaris, Oscar-winning writer of Birdman; Lindsey Croop, performance artist with Dance Theatre of Harlem; composer, lyricist, and librettist Derrick Wang; iLuminate creator Miral Kotb; longtime CBS journalist Mark McEwen; Essam Abadir, CEO of Aspire Ventures; soul-centered health coach Beth Clayton; attorney Donald Schupak, who negotiated for the Spirits of St. Louis during the ABA-NBA merger in ’76; music director, composer, arranger/orchestrator, and performer Charlie Rosen; and juggler/comedian Marcus Monroe.

Previously announced participants include Deaf West Theatre artistic director D.J. Kurs; Kelly Leonard, creative advisor of the Second City; Feinstein's/54 Below director of programming Jennifer Ashley Tepper; Queen of the Night and Sleep No More producer Randy Weiner; and playwright and performer James Lecesne (The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey), among others.

TEDxBroadway is coorganized by McCarthy and Damian Bazadona, founder of Situation Interactive.
