The Fifth Annual New York Innovative Theatre (IT) Awards were presented on Monday, September 21 at New World Stages. Julie Halston hosted the ceremony.
Outstanding Production of a Musical was awarded to the Gallery Players’ Like You LIke It; Outstanding Production of a Play went to LEE/gendary; and the Outstanding Full-Length Script award went to Nat Cassidy’s The Reckoning of Kit & Little Boots.
Performance awards went to Jeff Grow, William Apps IV, Constance Parng, Elyse Mirto, Austin McCormick, and the ensemble of (Not) Just A Day Like Any Other.
Special awards were presented to playwright Maria Irene Fornes, Material for the Arts, stage manger Jillian Zeman, and the Brick Theatre.
