Broadway star and Grammy Award winner Fantasia will perform her latest hit, “Collard Greens & Cornbread,” on the March 31 edition of FOX’s American Idol, according to published reports. Fantasia was the winner of the reality show’s third season.
Also set to appear on the March 31 show will be will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas and Academy Award and Grammy winner Jamie Foxx, who will perform their first-ever musical collaboration, “Hot Wings (I Wanna Party),” which has been written for the upcoming animated feature film Rio.
The shows Top 11 finalists – Casey Abrams, Naima Adedapo, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Thia Megia, Haley Reinhart and Pia Toscano – will sing hits from the 1980s on the March 30 show, with results to be announced on March 31.
