Danielle Brooks, Danny Burstein, and More at Manhattan Theatre Club Gala

Manhattan Theatre Club held its annual spring gala on Monday, May 16, at Cipriani 42nd Street. The evening honored Marie T. Gallagher, the senior vice president of PepsiCo, Inc.

Tony Award-winning playwright and performer Sarah Jones (Bridge and Tunnel) served as host. The gala featured performances from Tony nominees including Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple), Danny Burstein (Fiddler on the Roof), Christopher Fitzgerald (Waitress), and Adrienne Warren (Shuffle Along), among other shows.

The evening was codirected by Manhattan Theatre Club’s artistic director Lynne Meadow and Richard Maltby Jr. (Ain't Misbehavin'). The creative team included Philip Rosenberg (lighting design), Leon Rothenberg (sound design), and Jason Michael Webb (music direction).
