Danai Gurira Dedicates Eclipsed Performance to Rescued Chibok Schoolgirl

The cast of Broadway's Eclipsed has been dedicating each of their performances to the 219 schoolgirls of Chibok, Northern Nigeria, who were abducted by the Boko Haram in April 2014. After yesterday's matinee, the production's Tony-nominated playwright Danai Gurira took the stage at the John Golden Theatre to offer a special dedication to Amina Ali — the Nigerian schoolgirl who was rescued from the terrorist group late yesterday after 764 days in captivity.
