
The Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia has announced its mainstage lineup for the 2010-2011 season.
Two musicals are at the top of the theater’s offerings: John Kander, Fred Ebb, Peter Stone and Rupert Holmes’ murder mystery musical Curtains (September 7 – October 24) and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas (November 9 – January 9). In early 2011 the theater will turn to non-musical work, producing Peter Shaffer’s Amadeus (January 18 – March 6) and Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps (March 15 – May 1). The theater’s mainstage programming for the year will be rounded out with a production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schoenberg’s Miss Saigon (May 17 – July 17).
Casting and creative teams for the season will be announced at a later date.
