Performances of Walnut Street Theatre's new production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, directed by Bill Van Horn, begin tonight and run through April 28 on the Walnut's Mainstage, with opening night set for March 20.
Austin Nedrow stars as Christopher Boone in this production, making his Walnut debut. The rest of the cast includes Ian Merrill Peakes, Karen Peakes, Alicia Roper, Greg Wood, Susan Riley Stevens, Sarah Gliko, Dan Hodge, Justin Lujan, and Jane Ridley.
The creative team includes Roman Tatarowicz (set designer), Mary Folino (costume designer), Ryan O'Gara (lighting designer), Christopher Colucci (sound designer), and Christopher Ash (projections designer).
Adapted from Mark Haddon's novel, the story follows 15-year-old Christopher, who is exceptionally intelligent but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion of killing his neighbor's dog, he sets out on a journey to identify the true culprit.
