Laila Robins will star in Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of Polly Stenham’s That Face, which will begin previews at MTC at New York City Center – Stage I on April 29, in anticipation of a May 18 opening. Robins replaces the previously announced star Elizabeth Marvel in the production that will be directed by Sarah Benson.
Stenham’s play focuses on an affluent family dealing with a host of problems that cannot be solved by its wealth. The company will also feature Christopher Abbott, Maïté Alina, Betty Gilpin, Cristin Milioti, and Victor Slezak.
The creative team will include David Zinn (scenic and costume design), Tyler Micoleau (lighting design), Matt Tierney (sound design), and David Brimmer (fight director).
