West Coast Jewish Theatre is set to present The Immigrant, May 24-July 15 at Pico Playhouse. Howard Teichman will direct.
With a book by Mark Harelik, lyrics by Sarah Knapp, and music by Steven M. Alper, The Immigrant tells of the flight of Harelik’s grandparents from the pogroms of Russia to Hamilton, Texas, where they were befriended by a Gentile couple.
The cast will feature Cheryl David, Anthony Gruppuso, Gary Patent, and Dana Shaw.
The design team will include Kurtis Bedford (set design) and Michelle Young (costume design).
